The vision paints a picture of where an organization wants to be in approximately five years. The focus for the vision is always learning and teaching, centered on personalization. Ultimately the vision defines where you want to go, then drives how you plan to get there.
The development of a detailed vision is the first step in effective change management. Your vision should clearly articulate what you are aiming for over a period of three to five years. G&D will guide your organization toward a vision that comprises of detailed narratives and associated deliverables that serve to inform your stakeholders of what you intend to do and how you intend doing it. This process typically takes two days of workshops with follow up writing. For organizations to move forward, quickly and successfully they have to have a very clear picture of where they want to go, this is the vision.
